Outdoor Days for Children

The dates for climbing in the Peak District are:
23rd may
12th June
4th July
24th July

To book on to any of these days either speak to an instructor at the Foundry or fill in the booking form.

Outdoor Days for Adults

18th April and 15th May
2 opportunities to gain experience of outdoor climbing, including leading and top roping on the famous Gritstone Edges in the Peak District under expert guidance and instruction.

Spider Club Bookings

Thanks to the many parents who do book in to the Spider Club sessions. However it is very difficult to staff the sessions properly unless I am given enough notice of your attendance. It is better to book in and not attend than not to book in and then attend. I do not want to get to the stage where I am having to turn people away for safety reasons so PLEASE book by Friday so that I can contact the requisite number of instructors. Mark

NICAS Level 3

Congratulations to Beth Jennings who achieved her Nicas Level 3 certificate on Sunday.
At the age of 11 this is a truly remarkable feat and is the culmination of many months of hard work. Beth is now starting on Level 4 which involves her Lead Climbing. Well done her success and good luck with the next section

Spider Club Closures

Sorry for the lack of notice; we weren't able to get down to The Foundry on Sunday 21st Feb due to the road and traffic conditions. I know that some people turned up and were disappointed. Sorry for the inconvenience and if you email me I might be able to sort out some compensation. Mark
